Who thought it was a good idea to gather a bunch of puppet people in the same place for a while week? We sure did!
I had an amazing time taking Jim Kroupa's "Everything you wanted to learn about Mechs and then Some!" class at the O'Neil Puppetry conference this summer! Meeting so many skilled puppeteers and builders was so inspiring. We learned all the basics, completed a group project and performance, and created personalized puppets in a speedy puppetry challenge!
I was also able to perform a few pieces of my own after long days of puppet building. Its just too much fun to let a moment go to waste! I can't wait to apply for next summer!
