As the pandemic hits a new phase and businesses are opening back up, so too is live theatre! I’m so lucky that I’m able to join the new cast on the Disney Wonder, Wonder 42, as a replacement for part of their contract. Even though it was a short stay, I felt really connected to the cast. There’s already a certain camaraderie when you’re removed from the mainland, but the addition of increased health and safety protocols have brought us even closer.
I’m delighted to reprise some of my favorite DCL roles such as Peter Pan in the refreshed version of Disney Dreams, and Sven the lovable reindeer in Frozen. It’s hard to feel down or upset when you get to play with puppets and fly on a daily basis!
Here’s to a short return to DCL and to the renaissance of live theatre!
